ABOUT ME
Hi. I am Miss Emily Wagner and I am so excited to be starting my first year at South Hagerstown High School! Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
Growing up in Pennsylvania, math wasn't always my favorite subject. Thankfully, I had great teachers who helped me along the way! That is what drove me to become a math teacher.
I graduated from Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in 2014 with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education with a concentration in mathematics. About a year after graduating, I got a job teaching at an inner-city charter school in Reading, PA teaching Geometry and Algebra 1.
I moved to Hagerstown in June 2016. I have a dog named Lexi and a cat name Euclid. I love hiking, shopping, eating, and baking.
This year is going to be great! I can't wait to get started!
